Job description

Contract Radiological Applications Consultant

Carestream Health is seeking an experienced Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT, ARRT) to travel to customer sites across the USA, primarily in the Midwest.

The position involves extensive travel (90%+), with initial training in Rochester, NY. The pay is approximately $40/hr with no benefits, and it is a contract role with potential for full-time employment if a retirement occurs.

Responsibilities include coordinating customer training, system workflow integration, and image quality consultation for Carestream Imaging products, especially Direct Radiography systems like DRX-1 Retrofit, Revolution portable, Evolution, and Compass DR systems.

Ideal candidate location: Midwest (e.g., Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois) or other states near major airports.

Required Skills & Education:

  • Radiologic Technologist Degree, ARRT certification in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience in radiology disciplines (e.g., CT, MR, US, CR, DR, Diagnostic Radiography)
  • Knowledge of radiology workflow and operations
  • Ability to travel nearly 100%, valid driver’s license or US passport for air travel
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office
  • Professional appearance, effective communication, self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or in a team

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience with Carestream equipment (preferred but not required)

This role involves working in hospital and clinical settings, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
