Alium Health, LLC is seeking an experienced, Arizona-licensed psychiatrist to provide clinical consultation and court-ordered treatment renewal evaluations. The Contract Psychiatrist serves as a senior clinical resource supporting the psychiatric team and will conduct timely, clinically appropriate evaluations for renewal or continuation of court-ordered treatment.

This is an independent contractor position.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited medical school.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for renewal/continuation of court-ordered treatment.
• Review medical records, psychiatric history, treatment plans, and current documentation.
• Evaluate mental status, functioning, treatment participation, and adherence.
• Determine clinical support for continued court-ordered treatment.
• Complete affidavits, evaluations, certifications, and reports on time.
• Document clinical basis for findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with treatment teams, legal representatives, and court personnel.
• Provide testimony and appear for hearings when authorized and compensated.
• Notify Alium Health of any delays or incomplete records.
• Maintain neutrality and independent judgment in forensic evaluations.
• Complete documentation within required timeframes.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with standards.
• Submit documentation through Alium Health’s EHR or approved workflow.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and applicable laws.
• Document consultations/recommendations affecting patient care.
• Assist with audits, payer reviews, and record requests.
• Report safety, abuse, or mandatory reporting matters as required.
