Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking contract psychiatrists to provide evidence-based care for children (0-17) and adults within a nationwide contract network. You will conduct intake and follow-up appointments, perform psychiatric evaluations, and manage medications while collaborating with therapy and coaching referrals.

You will work across in-person and virtual settings, contributing to a culturally responsive, whole-person approach within a supported Lyra network that emphasizes streamlined scheduling

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry.
• Unrestricted state license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• DEA license preferred.
• Office space with ability to see patients in Columbia, MO.
• Full-time resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via intake appointments and regular follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based medication treatment that follows clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement based care, patient-centered care).
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with minors (ages 0-17) in addition to adults.
