What You'll Do

As a security professional, you will be a key member of the Security team, handling diverse responsibilities and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies. You will ensure compliance with security policies such as DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1–4, 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, ICDs, DoD 5105.21 Vol 1–3, DoDI 5200.01, DoDI 5205.11, RMF (NIST 800-53, JSIG), and related directives.

The CPSO/CSSO must oversee operations within SAP and SCI domains, ensuring efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate has broad security experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and possesses strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. The role requires professionalism, resilience under pressure, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

The Day-to-Day
  • Implement contractual security requirements and CDRLs for programs and personnel.
  • Set objectives and milestones aligning with business goals and security directives.
  • Manage diverse security responsibilities.
  • Prepare and oversee DD-254s for prime and subcontracting activities.
  • Control document security, including destruction, inventory, and accountability.
  • Process security clearances, PARs, PSQs, and SCI clearance requests.
  • Administer the SAP/SCI SETA program, including indoctrinations, debriefings, classification, courier duties, and training.
  • Support visitor control and coordinate meetings.
  • Lead security incident investigations and responses.
  • Conduct self-inspections and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain physical security of ICD 705 spaces, including involvement in new constructions and emergency responses.
  • Collaborate with ISSM/ISSO on RMF activities for Authority to Operate, including equipment control and policy development.
  • Develop and refine SOPs, processes, and procedures for operational consistency and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership and departments like HR, Legal, IT Security, Contracts, and Purchasing to support security initiatives.
What You'll Need
  • U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain program access.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SAP and SCI programs, with knowledge of relevant DoD and security directives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in onboarding and closing out programs/contracts.
  • Proven ability to create and manage security policies (SOPs, Program Protection Plans, OPSEC Plans).
  • Familiarity with security software (DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, eQIP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for business.
What Will Help You on the Job
  • Experience with the U.S. Intelligence Community and SAP environments (PSO, CPSO, CSSO, SSO).
  • Completion of CSSO or CPSO training courses.
  • Strong decision-making and discernment skills.
