Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc is seeking a Contract Production Operator in Lansing, MI to support the production line for lithium-ion battery manufacturing. You will operate the assigned process/equipment, assist in meeting production volumes and quality targets, and work in a climate-controlled environment on site at the LG Energy Solution facility.

The role is a temporary contract through a staffing agency with potential for direct hire based on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lift and transport material up to 50 pounds and operate basic equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness at the work-site per 5S3R Standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container).
• Follow LGESMI cleaning SOPs during downtime and clean designated machine and surrounding area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is employed by the staffing agency and assigned to work onsite at LG Energy Solution. Based on business needs and individual performance, temporary associates may be considered for direct employment; however, conversion is not guaranteed.

Summary

As a Contracted Production Operator , you will be operating the assigned process/equipment in accordance with the work instructions. You will help support production volumes and quality under the production plan while using equipment and computerized systems to produce, assemble, evaluate, process and package lithium-ion batteries in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Candidates will have to lift and transport material up to 50 pounds, and will also need to be able to operate basic equipment (push buttons, etc.)

• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
  • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
