Sledgehammer Games in San Mateo, CA, seeks a contract Producer to join our Engineering department. You will manage at least two engineering pods, drive feature and tech development, and ensure cross‑functional collaboration with teams across the US, Toronto, the UK and Australia.

This is a hybrid, in‑studio role in San Mateo with some remote days; permanent remote work is not available. A strong PM background in game development and experience with Jira/Confluence are highly valued.

Formación

• Experience as a Producer or Project Manager in game development, preferably with engineering teams.
• Familiar with Agile workflows, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple pods and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and support two or more engineering pods.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and task assignment using Jira and Confluence.
• Drive feature and tech development, including technical design documents and reviews.
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve blockers to maintain schedule and quality.
• Foster cross-functional communication between engineering, design, QA and other departments.
• Support onboarding, documentation, and process improvements within engineering pods.
• Report status and provide feedback to Engineering Leads and Production leadership.
• Champion Agile production practices such as iterative development and feature gating.
