Job summary

Swift Staffing is seeking a Printing and Scanning Technician for a government client in Towson. This six-month contract role handles in-house printing and scanning, ensuring quality and timely delivery of documents.

You will program and prepare print jobs, manage supplies, maintain production logs, and operate scanning equipment. The non-negotiable pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in printing and scanning is required.
• Ability to lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must meet deadlines and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on quality control and indexing.
• Experience with scanning equipment and Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Program and prepare print jobs including color, reductions, enlargements, binding and folding.
• Place orders for printing supplies and maintain production logs.
• Setup, program and release print jobs from queue and monitor output quality.
• Manage copier leases and vendors for outsourced printing services.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of scanned images.
