Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Phlebotomist in New Canton, VA for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, and the candidate must have a valid Phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture following protocols.
• Label, centrifuge, and transport specimens according to procedures.
• Maintain patient information and document maintenance data.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations compliance.
• Attend department trainings.
