Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Glen Burnie, MD seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract, with potential to perm. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-4pm.

You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure proper handling and transport while following OSHA/DEP regulations and maintaining patient information.

Requires 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, valid certification, MS Office proficiency, and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples at required temperatures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure test requisitions match and maintain patient information.
