RRC Solutions Group in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and specimen handling across multiple sites within Northwest Indiana.

Mileage is reimbursed, and benefits are available. Must have phlebotomy certification and a minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centri fu ging specimens, recording maintenance data, and decontamination.
• Update patient information and match requisitions with specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Follow OSHA and regulatory requirements and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and relay lab results as needed.
