Requirements include valid Phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience. Shift options are 6AM–6PM, Mon–Fri, with occasional weekends and mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature control.
