Medication Review Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Management Pharmacist to lead the facility's medication management program and ensure regulatory compliance.
The Pharmacist will oversee purchasing, inventory, and policy development while coordinating with facilities under contract. Responsibilities include promoting safe and efficient medication use, implementing technology upgrades, and serving as liaison between the company and health care entities.
The Pharmacist will work within the Medication Review Pharmacy Management Division providing pharmacy management services to healthcare facilities under contract with Medication Review. The Pharmacist serves as the designated pharmacy management representative responsible for oversight of all aspects of medication management within the assigned Health Care Entity (HCE). Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies while promoting safe, effective, and efficient medication use. The Pharmacist reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy Management and may also perform staff pharmacist duties as assigned.
Provide leadership and oversight of the facility's medication management program.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, Washington State RCWs/WACs and DEA requirements.
Develop, implement, review, and update pharmacy policies, procedures, and medication management practices as needed.
Plan, direct, and coordinate pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory management, medication storage, annual inventory, recalls, and disposal of pharmaceuticals.
Monitor medication utilization, formulary management, medication shortages, and cost-containment initiatives.
Assist with implementation and optimization of pharmacy technology, automated dispensing systems, and electronic health records.
Serve as the primary pharmacy management liaison between Medication Review and assigned facilities.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy Management.
