Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a Cranston, Rhode Island assignment. Start ASAP with a 26-week duration, approximately 35-40 hours per week, and a 12-hour day shift in a correctional setting.

The role requires an OT with a Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, current licensure, and at least five years of experience in hospital or correctional environments. Local contract position with no travel required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accreditation institution
• Current and valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the appropriate state board
• Minimum five (5) years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in hospital or correctional settings

Responsibilities

• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADLs) in a correctional setting
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual needs within the correctional environment
• Assign and monitor work performed by the COTA
• Collaborate with medical staff and provide training when necessary
