Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager to support the Private Pricing Program within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) team. You will draft executable contracts from approved frameworks and drive strategic projects with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Sales, to enable multi-year commitments for customers in a fast-paced environment.

  • Take ownership of the contract process, driving internal and external teams, such as Legal and Sales.
  • Identifying, tracking and analyzing key metrics as well as assisting with development of recommendations for improvements based on metrics.
  • Own and deliver results on important strategic program related projects which drive improvements and scalability for our Customers, in the contracting space.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager who's primary focus will be supporting the Private Pricing Program for AWS, preparing and drafting executable contracts based on approved frameworks and drive important strategic projects to support our Customers. This person will join Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team housed within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization. This is an existing role under our Private Pricing Channel Services pillar of 3PX, a team conceived from the belief that many current and future AWS customers can realize more value from cloud by deepening their relationships with AWS Private Pricing program. The ideal candidate will need to be endlessly curious about the Private Pricing program with AWS, be enthusiastic about contracting and driving strategic projects to successful completion, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, have the ability to shift between tactical and strategic work, thrive in an ambiguous environment, be self-driven and enjoy working cross-functionally to influence internal teams at all levels.

About The Team The Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, designed to offer AWS Customers access to commercial benefits in exchange for multi-year spend commitments. This program offers enterprise customers the opportunity to accelerate their cloud transformation journeys through multi-year cloud commitments with AWS, in exchange for commercial value through pricing, access to services, and opportunities to innovate with AWS.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
