Job summary

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience including: reviewing invoices for reasonableness and providing data to contractors.
Experience in administering contract operations and ensuring proposed work methods meet requirements.
Proven ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple divisions.

Responsibilities

Assists in monitoring progress to award Architect-Engineer contracts.
Reviews Contractors' invoices and vouchers for reasonableness before approval.
Advises selection board on company qualifications and makes recommendations on Contractor acceptability.
Revises work schedules and assignments to accommodate unplanned situations.
Participates in the selection of Architect-Engineer contractors.
Provides technical guidance and instructions on work methods, requirements, and procedures.
Participates in scope of work meetings with Contractors Representatives to discuss work requirements.
Coordinates extensively with Contracting Division and other district elements on matters pertaining to A-E contracting.
