Job summary

The Jel Sert Company seeks a Contract Operations Account Representative to manage communications with key accounts, obtain forecasts, and relay production needs to planning. You will process orders, coordinate QA releases, and ensure POs meet due dates while coordinating shipments with Traffic.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in customer service, strong MS Office skills, and experience in food/beverage or pharma environments. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • Highly proficient order entry and organizational skills are required.
  • Superior customer service skills are required.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically within Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative - production tracking for each PO, upload backup paperwork, and coordinate new customer setup with Credit Department.

This person will be primarily responsible for all customer communication relating to their specific key accounts, obtaining forecasts, communicating the forecast to production planning, process and allocate incoming purchase orders, coordinate product pickups between the customer and Traffic Department.

This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Service – responsible for communication to key accounts, liaison between customer and internal staff (Production Planning, QA and Traffic Department), obtaining production forecast, production requests and ensuring PO due dates are met.
  • Processing Orders – coordinate QA releases for appropriate items, order entry including allocating product for each shipment, informing Traffic department of released shipments, coordinate shipments between the customer and Traffic.
  • Administrative - production tracking for each PO, upload backup paperwork for each order onto the appropriate sharedriver, coordinate new customer set up with the Credit Department.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and will provide further compensation information during the interview process. The minimum compensation for the Contract Operations Account Representative is $21.25 per hour. Compensation is determined by a candidate’s experience, education, skills, training, and the internal equity within our organization. The actual compensation to be paid will be determined upon an offer. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • 3 years customer service background experience is required.
  • Experience within a food & beverage or pharmaceutical company preferred.
  • Highly proficient order entry and organizational skills are required.
  • Superior customer service skills are required.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically within Microsoft Office applications.
