Stamford Health Medical Group is seeking a temporary/contract RN for our OBGYN practice. The role requires OBGYN experience and involves coordination of patient care, supervision of non-RN staff, and documentation in EMR.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, with rotation across Old Greenwich, Stamford, and Darien. Ideal candidates will have CT RN licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years in a similar setting, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• CT RN license and BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and develop patient care using the Nursing Process per standards.
• Provide supervision and mentorship for non‑RN staff.
• Serve as a resource to staff and management for problem identification and resolution.
• Greet patients, document concerns, and prepare for exams/procedures.
• Document vitals, assist with specimens, and manage room readiness.
• Schedule tests, notify patients of results, and participate in staff meetings.
