Job summary

Lyra Health seeks a contract Neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations across age groups, in collaboration with families and care teams. The role includes interpreting test batteries, supervising a psychometrist, and delivering detailed reports and tailored feedback.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Psychology, with neuropsychology specialization, and experience in virtual and in-person testing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• One year predoctoral internship with neuropsychology specialization preferred.
• Two year postdoctoral fellowship with neuropsychology favored.
• Equivalent experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Licensed in CA or NY preferred; PSYPACT authorized or eligible preferred.
• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person; familiarity with online applications.
• Strong therapeutic communication skills; able to deliver care virtually or in person from own office space.
• Candidates must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, with families and collateral sources.
• Interpret wide range of neuropsychological tests; direct test administration when needed.
• Serve as subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments.
• Supervise and oversee the work of the psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports and client-friendly summary documents.
• Conduct clear feedback sessions to explain findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the patient’s care team to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver care in-person and virtually as required.
