Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a contract Neuropsychologist to join its Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity. You will conduct neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for clients of all ages, collaborate with families and care teams, and provide tailored feedback and recommendations.

Role supports both virtual and in-person sessions, with supervision of psychometrist staff, detailed reporting, and coordination with psychiatrists, therapists, and care managers to inform treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program.
• One year predoctoral internship with neuropsychology specialization preferred.
• Two year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state.
• PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred.
• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person.
• Familiarity with online web-based applications.
• Effective therapeutic communication skills.
• Able to deliver care virtually or in person and within your own office space.
• Candidates must successfully pass a background check for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews to gather complete history
• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with their families and/or other collateral sources
• Interpret a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments
• Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
• Complete detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and brief summary documents tailored for clients, families, and referring providers
• Conduct clear, supportive feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and personalized recommendations
• Collaborate with the patient’s care team (psychiatrist, care manager, therapist, and/or mental health wellness coach) to inform and coordinate treatment planning
• Comfortable completing virtual and/or in-person sessions with patients and their families
