Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a contract Neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations across all ages, collaborating with families and care teams.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in psychology, with neuropsychology training and licensure preferred in CA or NY. Both virtual and in-person care are supported, with flexible scheduling and access to Lyra’s clinical resources.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• One year predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• Two year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• Licensed in California or New York preferred.
• PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred.
• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person.
• Familiarity with online web-based applications.
• Effective therapeutic communication skills.
• Able to deliver care virtually or in person and within your own office space.
• Candidates must successfully pass a drug screen and background check for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with families and collateral sources.
• Interpret a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments interpretation.
• Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection.
• Complete detailed evaluation reports and tailored summary documents for clients, families, and referrers.
• Conduct clear, supportive feedback sessions explaining findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the patient’s care team to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver care in-person and virtually, with flexibility to work from home or office.
