Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a contract Neuropsychologist to join its Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity. You will conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, collaborating with families and care teams, in-person or virtually.

Requires an APA-accredited doctorate, internships/postdocs in neuropsychology, and licensure in CA or NY (PSYPACT preferred). Flexible scheduling and strong support from a multi-disciplinary team are provided.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred; postdoctoral fellowship preferred.
• Licensed in California or New York preferred; PSYPACT preferred.
• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person; familiarity with online web-based applications.
• Effective therapeutic communication skills; able to deliver care virtually or in person.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with families and collateral sources.
• Interpret a wide variety of neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments.
• Supervise and oversee the work of the patient’s psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection.
• Complete detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports and prepare brief summary documents for clients, families, and providers.
• Conduct clear feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the care team to inform and coordinate treatment planning.
• Comfortable completing in-person and virtual sessions with patients and families.
