Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a recruiter to identify and sign physician, hospital and ancillary providers under network participation agreements in line with corporate, health plan, and state guidelines. The role requires ensuring complete documentation and timely setup for claims adjudication.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years in contracting, contract analysis, or provider relations within healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field plus 4+ years contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or provider experience in a hospital or physician’s office/group setting.
• Working knowledge of state and/or federal health care programs (Medicaid, Medicare) preferred.

• Recruit and develop network for a region and set of providers.
• Lead assigned recruitments (physician, hospital and ancillary) and ensure complete and accurate standard contracts that meet objectives.
• Facilitate provider setup and contract configuration to ensure accurate claims adjudication.
• Initiate contact and identify potential providers by geographic and specialty needs and update database.
• Coordinate with internal departments and contracted providers to implement and maintain contract compliance.

Job description

Position Purpose:

Recruit physician, hospital and ancillary service providers to sign network participation agreements that are in accordance with Corporate, health plan and State guidelines. Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included.

Key Details:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

• Facilitate and oversee to the provider set-up and contract configuration to ensure accurate claims adjudication
• Initiate contact and identify potential providers by geographic and specialty needs and update database
• Coordinate with internal departments and contracted providers to implement and maintain contract compliance

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or provider experience in a hospital or physician’s office/group setting. Working knowledge of State and/or Federal health care programs preferred (Medicaid, Medicare).

Candidates must be in the state of Pennsylvania to be considered for this remote position. It requires occasional travel for meetings.

Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
