Job summary

Intel in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a WLA Module Equipment Technician on a 3-year contract to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. The role requires three consecutive 12-hour shifts and on-site presence, with opportunities to collaborate with Module Engineering on experiments and data collection.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications must include at least one of the listed options.
• Experience in equipment maintenance or related discipline is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, install, and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Perform setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance; coordinate with suppliers for service.
• Monitor data to improve tool reliability and performance.
• Document failures and update equipment specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with Module Engineering on experiments and data collection.
• Support troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experiments.
• Ensure tools are installed, converted, and qualified during factory ramps.
• Maintain safety, quality, and procedural standards.
