Job summary

Biodesix is seeking Mobile Phlebotomists (Independent Contractor) to collect samples in patients' homes or workplaces in Garden City, KS. This contract role supports blood-based testing and COVID-19 sample collection. Virtual training is provided.

Payment terms include invoicing with payment remittance within 30 days. Qualifications include at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• A minimum of 1 full year of phlebotomy within the last 3 calendar years.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to follow established procedures and exercise sound judgement.
• Organized approach to contacting and scheduling patients and communicating with the office.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
• Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, patient issues or draw complications.
• Specimen collection adhering to kit instructions precisely.
• Samples packed and shipped same day using FedEx materials provided by company.
• Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
