Job summary

Lucille's Mountain Top Inn & Spa in Georgia is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join as an independent contractor. The role offers open hours across a 7-day schedule (10am–5pm) with weekends busiest.

You will provide customized massage therapies, handle client assessments, and maintain accurate records in a professional spa environment. As a 1099 contractor, you set your hours with the team, receive compensation based on commission or hourly rates, and enjoy treatment room facilities,

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Experience with Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage is required or preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities are necessary.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, is needed.

Responsibilities

Lucille's Mountain Top Inn & Spa is a well-established full service Day Spa dedicated to providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients. We believe in the power of therapeutic touch to promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and enhance overall well-being. As an independent contractor with us, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in a supportive and professional environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and licensed Massage Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients achieve their wellness goals through customized massage treatments. We provide treatment room, all supplies, linens, and scheduling services; paid as 1099 contractor. Georgia license and personal liability insurance.

Salary

$54.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule

Our Day Spa is open 7 days a week, 10am-5pm

The ideal candidate would be available to work weekends, as this is our busiest time of the week.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' medical histories and conditions to determine the most appropriate massage techniques.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client consultations.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of massage therapy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the treatment room.
• Educate clients about the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques.
• Wash/Dry/Fold Spa Laundry in between clients.

Required Skills
