Our client is a leading contract manufacturer in the dietary supplements industry, operating from a state-of-the-art facility built for top-tier quality, innovation, and efficiency. Their focus on excellence enables partnerships with brands seeking reliable, scalable solutions for premium product delivery. Experience with tablets, capsules, powders and effervescents preferred.

This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Director in Contract Manufacturing for Dietary Supplements. The candidate will lead efforts to expand market presence and revenue in this competitive sector, overseeing sales initiatives, operations, customer service, team management, and new business development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Crafting sales strategies for the supplements market, with market analysis, positioning, and outreach to clients like brands, retailers, and distributors.
  • Building client relationships and pursuing new prospects via networking, events, and digital channels.
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and post-sale support for satisfaction and retention.
  • Leading sales team with goal-setting, training, reviews, and a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Tracking KPIs like revenue and pipeline, using data to refine strategies and boost performance.
  • Partnering with operations, QA, and product teams to align sales with manufacturing and project delivery.
  • Monitoring trends, regulations (e.g., FDA), and opportunities in personalized nutrition, sustainability, and e-commerce.
  • Overseeing customer service for inquiries, escalations, and loyalty through responsive problem-solving.
  • Driving business growth via partnerships, ventures, and expansion into new markets or categories.
  • Delivering reports and presentations on performance, forecasts, and strategies to leadership.
