Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team. In this role you will manage all contract activity for a directorate, a major market segment, or for a major project, playing a key role in managing complex contractual relationships and driving successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in Directorate, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.).
  • Provide technical guidance to assigned personnel and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.
  • Make staffing assignments and reassignments as Company and project needs arise.
  • Recruit, interview, and evaluate prospective employees.
  • Hire, offer personnel development, conduct performance evaluations, counsel, take corrective action as required, and approve terminations.
  • Ensure that new employees receive orientation in company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with directorate and project management to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration.
  • Review requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.
  • Negotiate the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients.
  • May represent the Company at government procurement regulatory and policymaking committee hearings and at industry association committees dealing with Federal Procurement Policy initiatives that will have an impact on the industry.
  • Maintain an active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • May be called upon to travel to client sites.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 12+ years of prime contract administration experience is required.
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts.
  • Knowledge and experience within Space market.
  • Incumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration. Ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
