Milsup LLC in Las Vegas seeks a Contract Manager to lead contract performance and make authority decisions on daily matters. The role requires a background in military aircrew operations, engineering or science, and strong organizational and writing skills.

The CM will designate alternates, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with security requirements including a Secret clearance. Supervises 12+ personnel and coordinates with stakeholders on contract execution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Science is desired with five (5) years military aircrew member experience

Training and Experience:

The Contract Manager (CM) shall be responsible for the performance of the work. The name of this person, and an alternate or alternates, with similar qualifications, who shall act for the contractor when the manager is absent, shall be designated in writing to the Contracting Officer not later than the post award conference. The CM or alternate shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.

General Skills:

Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills, oral communication skills, project management skills, ability to schedule workflow, prioritize, delegate, meet deadlines, and be multi-task oriented.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in performing office automation duties on government information systems using current software platforms such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Security Clearance:

Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Thorough knowledge of tactical air operations, including roles, missions, tactics, and aircrew terminology, knowledge of specific mission areas such as counter-air, counter-land, counter-information strategic attack, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), command and control (C2), etc., and how these mission areas relate to each other.

• General knowledge of composite force employment procedures and tactics, as well as comprehensive understanding of EW, tactical ranges, threat simulators and target scoring systems.

• Comprehensive knowledge of combat aircraft systems and their use in counter-air, counter-land, and counter-information missions, a working knowledge (technology, capability, systems, limitations, etc.) of combat aircraft and weapons used in combat air operations by U.S., Allied, and Coalition forces knowledge of U.S., Allied, and threat surface-to-air and air-to-air weapons, their employment tactics and capabilities.

• A good overall command of the English language and knowledge of formatting and style used in technical reports,
