Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Contract Management Intern for the Americas New Units Heavy Duty Gas Turbines team. The role supports analysis, interpretation, and execution of multi-billion-dollar turbine projects across the US, Canada, and Latin America.

On-site in Schenectady for a 12-week Summer 2027 internship, you will help develop automated tools and present contract topics to stakeholders. The internship requires enrollment in an accredited degree program (Business, Engineering, Law or related),

Qualifications

Enrolled in accredited degree program (Business, Engineering, Law or related).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong written and oral English communications.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with customer-centric focus.

Responsibilities

Support contract analysis from initial identification to final resolution.
Review new power plant contracts across US, Canada, and Latin America.
Develop automated tools to streamline change order management processes.
Support contracts execution with Contract Managers, Project Managers and customers.
Prepare contractual correspondence including change orders and notices.
Track risk mitigation, vendor recovery, and deliverables for contracts.
Present contract topics to internal stakeholders.
Organize and maintain legacy contract documents and files.
