Contract Management & Compliance Specialist

Location: USA—Work from home #LI-Remote

mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

This professional highly skilled and detail-oriented role will be focusing on the management of the company’s contract lifecycle process to join our team. This position will involve managing our contracts with clients buying our procurement software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contract management lifecycle function with all internal stakeholders (legal, finance, sales, IT/security etc.) and ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance with relevant U.S. laws and regulations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Main responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Act as the main coordinator, contributor and manager for the company’s contract lifecycle process;
  • Maintain a comprehensive contract database;
  • Provide guidance on contract terms and conditions to internal stakeholders;
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including NDAs, RFP’s, service agreements, and vendor contracts.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with legal, finance, sales, IT/security and procurement departments to ensure alignment on contract process and compliance matters.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes, particularly in public procurement.

Corporate Compliance:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of corporate compliance policies and procedures.
  • Contribute and support company’s compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
  • Provide training and support to employees on contract management processes.

Desired profile:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract management processes and corporate compliance, with a focus on public procurement.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. contract law, corporate governance, public procurement regulations.
  • Proficiency in public procurement software solutions and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience or certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CCEP-I) and/or data privacy/security (e.g., CIPP/US) is a plus.
