Job summary

EMCOR Government Services, is seeking a talented Hospital Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) for Operations and Maintenance services for the Medical Treatment Facilities of the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The CMM will oversee day-to-day operations and have full authority to act on behalf of EMCOR in all task-order matters for daily operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in ambulatory care and medical/healthcare facility operations and maintenance.
  • 5+ years experience servicing/renovating commercial buildings with supervision of a diversified workforce.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards: O&M, JC, NFPA, EPA, OSHA.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • OSHA 30 completion preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) to be obtained immediately upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day onsite facilities management for a medical treatment facility.
  • Oversee a diverse team of managers, foremen, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Be on call 24/7/365 for facility emergencies.
  • Ensure staff and subcontractors follow management plans, safety and quality requirements.
  • Direct scheduling and completion of preventive maintenance, repairs, and projects.
  • Coordinate with customer Facility Management contacts for reports, scheduling, program status, and best-practice recommendations.
  • Ensure work complies with contract, healthcare codes, budgets and performance standards.
  • Resolve deficiencies and issues per reporting and corrective action requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, deliverables, training, licenses and permits.
  • Conduct staff training, safety briefings, and quality inspections.
  • Provide subcontractor/vendor management including performance reviews and follow-up actions.

Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented hospital Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) for the Operations and Maintenance Services for the Medical Treatment Facilities of 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The CMM will be responsible for the performance of the work and shall have full authority to act on behalf of EMCOR on all task order matters related to the daily operation of this task order.

Salary range $120,000 - $146,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day onsite facilities management for a medical treatment facility.
  • Oversee diverse team of managers, foremen, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7/365 in response to facility emergencies.
  • Ensure staff and subcontractors adhere to management plans and processes, including safety and quality requirements.
  • Direct scheduling and completion of preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work.
  • Coordinate closely with customer Facility Management points of contact in providing formal and ad hoc reports, scheduling services, sharing program status, and making best practice recommendations.
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements, healthcare codes and regulations, budgets, and performance standards.
  • Resolve conflicts, identified deficiencies, and issues following reporting and corrective action requirements.
  • Maintain program documentation and records for The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, contract deliverables and plans, training, staff certifications and licenses, and permits.
  • Conduct staff training, safety briefings, and quality inspections.
  • Provide subcontractor and vendor management, including performance reviews and necessary follow-up actions.
Qualifications
  • The Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) shall be technically qualified in the field of Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Management and shall have, as a minimum, three (3) years’ experience in Ambulatory Care and medical/healthcare bedded-inpatient facility operations and maintenance.
  • The CMM shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience servicing and/or renovating commercial buildings. including supervision of diversified work work force responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems.
  • The CMM shall be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the PWS, JC, NFPA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and OSHA codes and standards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification to be obtained immediately upon hire
