Job summary

MapleClass Education in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Machine Operator for a full-time contract role. You will set up and operate production machines, monitor performance, and ensure product quality, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in manufacturing, reads blueprints, can lift up to 50 pounds, and is flexible to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Machine Operator in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
