Job summary

ActioNet is seeking a Journeyman Electrician / Low Voltage Installation Technician for contract work in Yuma, AZ, with regional travel. The role covers electrical and low-voltage installations for telecommunications and critical infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in EMT installation, cabling experience, and the ability to travel. Experience with 1” and 2” EMT and safe, code-compliant practices is essential. OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience in commercial EMT installation and low-voltage/electrical installation.
• Experience with 1” and 2” EMT conduit including bends, offsets, saddles, and back-to-back bends.
• Structured cabling experience with copper and fiber optic cabling.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and low-voltage installation activities supporting telecommunications infrastructure, network systems, and facility upgrades.
• Inside Plant (ISP) installation: cable routing, rack installation, equipment connections, cable management, labeling.
• Outside Plant (OSP) activities including pathway installation and cable placement.
• Install and work with electrical circuits, panels, grounding and bonding systems, UPS, PDUs.
• Read drawings, schematics, and installation documentation; ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Maintain safe work environment in construction, telecom, and outdoor field settings.
