Role Overview

The Solution Design Engineer supports proposal preparation for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and operational re-engineering for existing clients.

Responsibilities

1. Provide engineering support for proposals, renewals, and re-engineering activities to support business growth and retention. This includes data analysis, operational concept development, layout design, process identification, engineering modeling, and customer proposal development.
2. Continuously develop skills to design distribution center operations.
3. Collaborate with Business Developers and Program Managers to schedule, prepare, and submit proposals and renewals promptly.
4. Support other operational improvements as needed.
5. Integrate green initiatives into proposals when appropriate, supporting local community efforts.
