Job summary

The National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a contract Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC) for our Behavioral Health Program in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing essential mental health services to children and families, including therapy and advocacy, while working 25 to 28 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, have experience serving youth, and be able to travel for community services. This position integrates close work with foster families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field required.
• 2 years of work experience working with youth and families preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family mental health services.
• Travel daily for community-based services and complete documentation.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with foster families.
