Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Contract Lab Chemist in Superior, WI. In this role, you will work in a temperature-controlled environment conducting process control and product certification testing on various refinery feedstocks. Your responsibilities include performing QC testing, maintaining laboratory safety, and documenting results accurately. A B.S. in Chemistry is preferred along with 2-4 years of lab experience. Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry is preferred but a 4-year science degree with chemistry coursework is acceptable.
• 2-4 years of laboratory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in refinery safety and health initiatives.
• Perform routine and QC testing as directed by the Chemists.
• Document testing results in the Laboratory Information Management System.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and areas.
• Write Safe Work Permits for maintenance tasks.
• Assist with inventory control.
