Job Summary

We’re hiring a Contract Interior Designer with strong procurement and value engineering experience to support restaurant and high-end residential projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative designer skilled in FF&E sourcing, consultant coordination, and documentation review. This is not a concept or creative lead position—it's a critical executional role focused on procurement, coordination, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FF&E procurement, shipping coordination, and delivery schedules across multiple projects
• Source and price materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Identify and recommend value engineering options that preserve design intent
• Cross-check FF&E/material dimensions against drawings (plans, elevations, RCPs) using AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Review and mark up drawing sets with consultants and contractors
• Communicate with vendors/showrooms to obtain quotes, samples, and lead times
• Maintain procurement logs, budget trackers, and assist in managing overages
• Prepare spec books, sample boards, and client documentation
• Coordinate with internal design/ops teams and external consultants for smooth execution
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of interior design, FF&E procurement, or design management experience in hospitality or luxury residential
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Bluebeam
• Ability to read and mark up floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and detail drawings
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and vendor sourcing
• Experienced in consultant/vendor coordination across design/construction
• Highly organized with strong communication and documentation skills
• Must have own laptop and required software
• Comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, and other coordination tools
• Familiarity with Programa or similar procurement platforms a plus
