Job summary

MapleClass Education in Washington, USA, is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to maintain, repair and calibrate instruments used in our operations. This contract role requires hands-on proficiency with various instruments and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

You will perform routine servicing, troubleshoot malfunctions, calibrate to standards, document work, and assist with installation of new instruments. A minimum of three years in oil and gas instrumentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficient with maintaining, repairing and calibrating instruments.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with industry safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of all instruments to ensure their proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments.
• Calibrate instruments according to industry standards and company protocols.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs and calibrations performed on instruments.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new instruments as needed.
