Job summary

77 consultants seeks an entry-level Locum NP/PA in Hematology Oncology to join our on-site clinical team in Kingman, AZ. You will perform patient assessments, coordinate treatments, and support physicians in day-to-day care within outpatient oncology. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, education, EMR documentation, and collaboration with nurses and specialists.

Qualifications

• Valid NP or PA licensure in good standing
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
• Current national certification as NP or PA
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of oncology meds and chemotherapy protocols
• Excellent patient communication and education abilities
• Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation
• On-site work in Kingman for the contract duration

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for hematology/oncology patients
• Assist physicians with individualized treatment plans
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other treatments
• Order and interpret lab tests and imaging
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, and side effects
• Document encounters in EMR systems
• Collaborate with oncologists and nurses for coordinated care
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Provide supportive care for symptom management and quality of life
• Participate in rounds, case discussions, and ongoing education
