Job summary

77 Consultants is seeking a Locum MD to provide specialized hematology/oncology care on-site, diagnosing and treating patients with hematology and oncology conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care in a supportive setting. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–4:40p. Setting: Primarily outpatient with some inpatient consults.

Adult patient population; Case mix: 60% medical oncology, 40% hematology oncology. Board-certified and licensed in the state.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology.
• Active medical license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and consultations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Conduct research and stay current with advancements in hematology oncology.
