Ashton North LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Vancouver, WA. The role includes blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, with duties spanning centrifugation and data recording.

Requires 2 years of phlebotomy experience, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Pediatric and geriatric experience plus specimen processing are required. Travel to Portland/Beaverton/Gresham as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Clearly explains venipuncture process to patients in a courteous manner.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Ensure all test requisitions match scripts and label accordingly.
• Store specimen samples per required temperature and preserve transport readiness.
