Job summary

Heartland Ambulance Service is seeking contract EMTs for a 13-week travel assignment. This temporary position includes housing in the Midwest.

We place EMTs on 911-only ambulances. Shifts are either 12 hours or 24 hours, with a 13-week term and 168 hours per pay period; pay is issued every other Friday on a W2 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have NREMT or compact state certification.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 calls as EMT on ambulances.
• Work either 12 hours on/12 hours off or 24 hours on/24 hours off for 13 weeks.
• Housing is provided for the term of the contract.

Heartland Ambulance Service is seeking 'contract' EMTs that are available for a 13-week travel contract. This will be a temporary position that includes housing in Midwest

Heartland Ambulance Service is an 911 & IFT provider. We are seeking EMTs to work on our 911 ONLY ambulances. You will either be on a 12 hour shift or 24 hour shift.

Requirements:

• Must have NREMT or compact state certification
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have a current CPR

We will assist in obtaining reciprocity with Indiana, the process is fast.

Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a EMT

Housing is provided for the term of the contract. IFT EMTs will work 12 hours on 12 hours off, everyday for 13 weeks straight OR 24 hours on, 24 hours off, for 13 weeks straight. You will work 168 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks). The pay is every other Friday and is W2.
