Job summary

CSP seeks an EHS Supervisor at the Salisbury, NC plant for a 6‑month contract. Under the EHS Manager, you’ll support compliance with OSHA and EPA standards and corporate EHS policies in a manufacturing setting.

You will lead industrial hygiene and safety efforts, train staff, manage environmental programs, and coordinate incident investigations. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, or health-related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of environmental, health, and safety experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of EPA regulations and sound OSHA understanding is required.
• Experience in communicating in writing and before groups; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes, evaluates, and recommends control of workplace hazards in industrial hygiene and safety.
• Guides maintenance, engineering, production, purchasing and shipping teams.
• Investigates health and safety complaints and recommends timely solutions.
• Manages environmental programs (hazardous waste, storm water, wastewater, air reporting) and regulatory liaison.
• Coordinates respirator fit testing and conducts industrial hygiene sampling as needed.
• Delivers EHS training to employees on program-specific topics.
• Drives Job Safety Analysis (JSA) program and supports Safety Suggestion Program.
• Maintains H&S minutes, conducts inspections, and tracks corrective actions.
