Job summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Data Scientist/Predictive Modeling Contractor for a 12 W2 contract in South San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on AI prototyping, predictive modeling, and platform design within a Pharma client’s DAISAE program.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related field.
• Strong expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI prototyping.
• Hands-on experience developing agentic AI systems and MCP tools.
• Proficiency with biomedical datasets (omics, clinical trials, RWD, in vitro/in vivo).
• Agile prototyping mindset with software engineering skills for data science.

Responsibilities

• AI prototyping and MCP tool development for DAISAE; rapid evaluation of AI tools and agentic capabilities.
• Build and refine predictive models using multi-modal datasets to predict safety risk across product lifecycle.
• Translate feasibility findings into architectural design and platform requirements for shared data foundations.
• Co-develop and govern reusable capabilities; transition components to Digital Tech for validation and production.
• Collaborate with data scientists, safety scientists, and DT partners to align with business priorities.
