R&D Partners seeks a Predictive Modeling contractor to co-develop data foundations and prototype agentic AI capabilities for drug safety risk prediction across the lifecycle. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, multi-modal data handling, and architecture-driven platform design in a biotech context.

The candidate will work with data scientists and safety experts in an agile setting, contributing to production-ready components and governance-aligned solutions in a South San Francisco

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Strong expertise in predictive modeling and ML.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, LLM tools and MCP tools.
• Proficiency with biomedical datasets (omics, trials, RWD).
• Agile prototyping mindset with data-science software skills.
• Background in pharmacovigilance or drug safety desirable.
• AI-native problem-solving and global-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Prototype AI tools and MCP tool integrations.
• Build and refine predictive models using multi-modal datasets (omics, trials, RWD, safety data).
• Translate feasibility findings into architectural design and platform requirements.
• Prototype reusable capabilities for validation, compliance, and production rollout.
• Collaborate with data scientists, safety scientists and partners to align with priorities.
