Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Data Governance Specialist for a contract assignment in Tempe, AZ. The role supports enterprise-wide governance, data quality, and policy development within the Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team.

The candidate will implement data lineage, metadata management, and risk assessments while ensuring compliance with GDPR/CCPA, FedRamp/NIST, and other standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data governance or data quality
• Experience with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of enterprise-wide data policies, standards, and procedures
• Manage data lineage, lifecycle, ETL, and metadata practices
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy regs, and industry standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data issues and improvements
• Design and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs
• Evaluate and manage data governance tools and technologies
• Stay updated on data governance trends and technologies
• Conduct regular data audits and risk assessments
• Develop and deliver data governance training
• Identify and mitigate data governance risks
