Job summary

Mozilla is seeking a dedicated data analyst to bridge Gecko telemetry and product strategy. You will build dashboards, audit data collection points, and filter bot noise to deliver high-fidelity insights for leadership.

You will work across Desktop and Android platforms, collaborating with Performance and Data Teams to translate technical metrics into actionable product guidance. Strong SQL, visualization, and statistical analysis are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and data visualization skills for telemetry dashboards.
• Experience with statistical methods to identify correlations in large datasets.
• Familiarity with Rust or C++ is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with AI tooling is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into business insights independently.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain high-level overview dashboards that translate complex performance data into consumable formats for Product Managers and leadership.
• Audit the Gecko codebase to identify missing collection points or probes for complete understanding of the product experience.
• Develop methodologies and tools to identify and filter data inconsistencies, targeting bot traffic and hardware-specific noise from telemetry streams.
• Deliver deep-dive analyses correlating technical performance shifts with user-facing pain points and engagement trends.
