Qualifications

• 8+ years of data science, analytics, or applied quantitative roles with ownership of complex, business-critical analytical work.
• Experience with digital advertising or a related monetization business, understanding how product, user, advertiser, and revenue outcomes interact.
• Strong technical foundation in Python and SQL, with statistical, experimental, forecasting, and analytical methods.
• Demonstrated ability to independently frame ambiguous problems, identify what matters, and drive work to a clear recommendation.
• Excellent analytical judgment—balancing rigor with pragmatism, pressure-testing important results, and communicating uncertainty.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead Data Science partner for Mozilla’s Ads business across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and leadership.
• Own complex analytical problems end-to-end from framing to validating results and driving follow-through.
• Develop measurement frameworks for new ad products, including metrics, experimentation, instrumentation, and reporting.
• Analyze advertising revenue and performance to identify drivers, evaluate opportunities, and inform decisions.
