Job summary

SkyPoint is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our Washington team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will operate tower, mobile and overhead cranes, perform pre-operational checks, and ensure safety on construction sites.

Salary is $1400 per month with accommodation provided. We offer visa sponsorship for eligible candidates and a one-time travel ticket for those joining from outside Washington. This urgent role must be filled within 2 weeks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of crane operator experience in construction.
• Valid crane operator certification/license.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities.
• Strong communication with ground crew.
• Physical strength and stamina for extended periods.
• Safety-conscious mindset to ensure well-being on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes including tower, mobile and overhead cranes.
• Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and instructions to determine lifting methods.
• Coordinate with ground crew using hand signals or radio equipment.
• Rig loads using cables, hooks, clamps or other equipment.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations for safety.
• Keep track of materials lifted and moved in records.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies at all times.
