Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of shop-floor experience focusing on Rockwell (Studio 5000/FactoryTalk) and Fanuc platforms.
• Experience in adult technical education, industrial instruction, or structured system integration mentoring.
• Sourced via an approved specialized automation engineering agency partner for a 12-month milestone contract.
• Proactive, flexible, confident, professional, and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems to diagnose problems and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• System Ownership & Recovery: take ownership of automation, networking, and robotics blocks and develop disaster recovery protocols.
• Technical Coaching & Mentoring: provide hands-on mentorship to floor technicians and junior engineers.
• Curriculum & Training Support: help develop technical training content to meet business needs.
• Instructional Delivery: conduct on-the-floor coaching and instructor-led training sessions.
• Continuous Improvement: support engineering development and maintain expertise in owned hardware and software configurations.
